One thing i liked that they mentioned is that they have 100 local and regional farm-fresh products including fruits, vegetables, herbs, plants, and flowers at competitive wholesale prices and quantities. So instead of going to eat unhealthy foods you can get healthy foods for low price which keeps you healthy. So there easy to locate which doesnt force you to go out your way, and to serve you foods that willl help you grow correctly. Instead going out to mcdonaldsand eating these greasy fat foods that will afecct your body, with fat and no nourishment you can pay cheaper to get healthy foods. I have experience from eating fast foods they leave pimples, and make you gain fat in many areas ,and are not healthy for the heart. Just as a movie i viewed in highschool supersize me which shows the affect fast foods can have on you. Wouldnt you want to eat healthy and pay the same price. They includr such great foods such as cucumbers, cabbage, brocoli, corn, egg plant, beans, potatoe, spinach and many other healthy foods. So instead of going to fast foods that destroy youy body keeping you unhealthy, i would go with these type of healthy foods.

As i reviewed all my blogs i have noticed i completed most but didnt complete all the blogs that i was assigned. Also as i reviewed my blogs i could see the building of my writing from blog 6 to blog 16. I use to create essays with out indenting incorrect pronunciation, no paragraphing , and not answering directly what the author was mentioning in his essay. Thanks  to Doctor X and the method of blogging she helped me become a better writer then i was in the past. We were told to do several tactic such as proofreading others work to see the mistakes, and also see great techniques other writers had so we could become better writers. The proof reading method allowed me to go back to my work and correct the errors in my writing, and include better tactics to enhance my writing. When i viewed my old blogs i would write about a topic and give irelavant information not pertaining to the story leaving readers confused. Now when i look at my writings now i state what the author is trying to explain, also giving at least two examples from experience or from noticing that cocucld help you let readers know what they are mentioning in the essay. What i should have done was reread all the past blogs i have written and correct them making alll my blogs up to date showing the improvement i had from earlier this year. As i looked back at my blog 6 if that was the actual catw i dont think i meet the requirments to pass the test. I recently jus took the catw thanks to the blog i think i use the correct methods to pass the test, and im about 85 percent sure i passed thanks to the lessons from Doctor X, and the blogs

Part 1

  This summary explains about the men and women from Mexico, Central America, and South East Asia that migrated from there homelands to seek oppertunity. They searched for job's and many of these people turned to meat packing jobs. They called this factory the Slaughter House giving the job a good empression on what  conditions the job offered. The workers where payed  $9.25 cents per hour which is right above poverty wages. This job had its affects as you can see it described that average worker quit, or was fired every three months. So it explains the harsh conditions that these immigrants faced. I could imagine how many of these immagrants felt over worked, tired but was left with no choice but to work. I worked at mcdonalds and thought that was tough labor, these workers often where  injured, sick,or even faced amputations for minimum wage jobs.

Since we evaluated peoples writing's as a group i found out that its good to have strategy in your writing, with well transition and structure to  point readers  into the right direction. Also i learned that you must be very specific in explaining the details you include in your writing. It occurs at times that people jump from one poinit to another leaving readers lost in the writing.

Blog 13

How to do one thing at a time 

This summary identifie's that we shouldn't multi task, since our brain's have congitive limits. Yet people are working while on the phone, or multi tasking decreasing there lack of focus. Which can result's into you being less productive. Then multasking can become more dangerous when texting while driving, or talking on the phone. That make's it very dangerous for people's lives thats are on the road. Since you are multi tasking it makes you get carried away from a your other task, which can be driving resulting into some ones life. So it shows what degrees multi tasking can have on us. So its alway's better to do a task according to sequence.

  What i like the author mentions is that it was proven by Professors at Stanford University  for some students to multi task, and other students to focus on there main task. The students that performed there main task with out multi tasking exceeded way better, and had better memory. I felt that was a very significant idea to prove we shouldnt multi task, due to the lack of focus. Us humans have a certain amount of task our mind can work on. So it's jus better off to take it task by task by completing it according to sequence.

 I am proof to explain that multi tasking can be very defective. I am a sales associate at macy's and work with selling woman shoes. There where days like black friday i would be faced with up to ten customers at the same time.Customers complaining they have been waiting to long for shoe's, resulting into me being less productive. When the days go by smooth and i can serve one or two customers at a time i am always being productive. so thats proves that doing task according to sequence is proven to be better.

 The most interesting idea in this article is the devolpment of how fast food originated. In this article it explains how the poor who have no home food go out for cheap fast foods, and as time accumulates businesses notice this is what people are spending there money on. So buisnesses create new fast food restaurants, giving great advertisments and deals which gives them lots of recognition. What i dont agree with is that they say young black men spend most of there money on fast food. People all around the world even if there black, white, chinese, or latino consume there money on there own specific fast foods, giving fast food more recognition.

 What i never noticied was that many teenagers are protien poor but fat , and carbohydrate rich. This is due to the fact of all the supersizing, and overdosing of fast foods making teenageers unhealthy. This gives a high percentage of obiesity in our communities. At the end of the day its the people choice, we all have the right to choose what we eat. So all these fast foods actually are you using good buinsess tactics making americans want to spend on there buisness.

  What this article reminds me of is a movie called supersize me. In this movie called supersize me it views a man that was perfectly healthy according to doctors. It would view this man eating mcdonalds for the two months for breakfast, lunch, and dinnner. As time grew and he consumed mcondalds his blood pressure was rising, he gained 25 pounds in two months, and had lots of body fat making him completley unhealthy. Showing the criticism that nutritions had against mcdonalds or even fast foods.

 After this article i wouldnt recommend that you stop eating fast food. I would jus recommend that you would balance how much you choose to eat fast food. If you choose to eat some thing to much or even take medicine to much there can be side affects to overdosing. Just as the side affect this man in supersize faced obiesity throwing up, and high body fat. Fast food is a verry taste experience and i dont go against it, but i go against to much consuming of fast food.

The Net is The Real World

     This is a very tragic story that would make you think twice before invading one's privacy even joking with an individual. It explains three young men that attended Rutgers Unniversity named Dhuran Raui, Molly Wei, and Tyler Clementi. Tyler Clementi notified his roomate Raui that he would be personally be using the room that night, and he would have a guest over. Raui then then tweeted that night his roomate was using the room for the night, and placed a webcam which viewed 18 yearold roommate Tyler Clementi having relations with a male. This video streamed all over the web, and the campus, puttin Tyler Clementi to such embarrasment he became an outcast. Three nights later poor Tyler clementi couldn't deal with being an outcast so in result he used suicide as an escape. The following day a search team discovered his body at shore, Raui and Wei the students who exposed him would be facing up to 5 year's in prison if found guilty. So technically what the author is trying to explain is how much the net play's a role in the world. Technology plays a role in the world. Technology didnt kill Tyler Clementi but it had part's with him reacting into suicide showing how real the net is, and i completely agree with the author. People dont know what affect they have on an individual by joking , or invading one's privacy. The affect the teenagers had on Tyler clementi put him into utter embarrassment, he felt he wouldnt be viewed the same. He was exposed for what ignorant people refuse to accept homosexuality, he would be ridiculed in school, his parents would probably be discouraged which left himm with only one escapeto his situation suicide. From what i have learned from this passage it is not right to make an indivdual feel embarrased, violated or exposed in any way, either if its on the internet or not. I say this because many peopole handle situation's like this in self destructive way's. I personally wouldnt have handeled the situation that way but it shows that we are all different , and react differently. So at the end of the day we see what affect the net has on our time.

The Matrix blog 9

   The summary of the first video the matrix is morpheus is tryin to explain to neyo what the matrix is .He also explains to neyo would choices he would be facing if he joined him, and what he would face if he was not to join the matrix. It shows the real world as it is and the truth behind the lies these big corparations have on us. It also explains what morpheus visions if neyo joins his gang and what affect they can have on these corparations as one. So baiscally neyo joins the gang leaving the lies ready to face the truth and solve the problem that generate threw these big corparations.

  What the matrix ;revolting explain's is what happen's after neyo's decision of joining the matrix. Its shows him as he enters the matrix and what the matrix use to be before it was destroyed by evil agents. It shows how they mistreat the cows, and all the other mistreatments the corparations have on these farms. Neyo actually gets a real view of what these corparations are doing to these cows and get angry. He faces these agents head to head destroys them and they find out that neyo really is the choosen 1.The agents flee from neyo capturing morpheus leaving neyo and his partner to retrive morpheus back, giving neyo a taste of what the matrix is.

 The matrix :revolting 2 shows what neyo and his partner go threw to rescue there boss morpheus. He was captured by the evil angents sent to a farm so they could execute him. So neyo and his partner discover where there boss is being held and face the agents in a battle rescuing morpheus from his death. So thats basically what the last paragraphs summarizes in the video leaving neyo and his partners all safe and sound, continuing the quest in defeating the evil corparations and agents.

Implants

The reason why i choose implants is because as you can see they are breast but artifical breast. They feel great look great but in actuality are not real flesh and meat ,which this woman was brought to the world with. They use these implants to amuse people also to create lust, or even boost self confidence in a person. Breast implants consist of saline-filled and silicone-gel which create a mushy plumpy look placed into the breast or buttox or any other place in the body giving a unique look. Artificial ideas which are bieng created today can enhance taste ,feeling ,or even selfconfidence. Implants can cost alot of money because of what is in the implants, and would fall into surgery most of the times.

Televison

The reason i choose television as an artifical object is because television is nothing but a delusion. This is true because some events that take place on televison actually did occur but is recorded playing live which makes it artifical. The person you see on the television actually does exist but its not the actual person you are Viewing, what you see is the character which voice is bieng transmitted threw circuits and movements which where recorded making it artificial. The actual character sweats, sleeps, and plays the role making him an actor which also make his character artificial at times. This is technology which creates all these artificial things which amuses the mind of the people.Television is great entertains many even me, but at the end of the day it is artificial

Homer Simpson

The reason why i choose Homer Simpson as an artificial person because he is a character who is created with animations which is man made, and a real human being is potraying this characters. The actual person behind Homer Simpson is Homer J Simpson who acts like homer , giving homer his sarcastic voice and humor which creates comedy. With out human beings homer simpson would not exist he is an artifical character who is played over national television. This is a widely recognized show which is very popular on tv and has many views. Since Homer Simpson is artifical he doesnt no that he is fake, all the characters on his show are artificial and are trapped in the television with no escape leaving him with this expression that you see which is created by man. Unlike the Truman show, Truman was an actual human bieng which was bieng recorded in actuality not making him artifical. Homer Simpson is created with animation which would never make him be able to escape the Simpson show.

I am not a cyborg a cyborg is a human that is no longer alive and body has been installed with mechanical engineering. I am human with no metal installed into me that has feelings , no super power, and will die as time expands. Cyborgs are verry dangerous creations they can be designed to help people but slight errors and malfunctions can result to humans life at stake. A great example  the movie terminator 3 rise of the machines arnold schwarzenegger was a cyborg who was sent to earth to protect john coner from an evil cyborg that was sent to assinate him. In the movie asarnold schwarzenegger  engaged into battle with this evil cyborg the evil cyborg rebooted his system which caused arnold schwarzenegger to try to execute john coner. showing the effects a cyborg can have to man kind, humans are capable of killing as well but to add another risk like this  it could be anonymus what destructions could be caused. So in that case i am not a cyborg i am a human that was put into this life to grow learn and breed so us humans will not go extinct. Cyborgs are set on earth not from god but men who give them objectives they have no choice but to follow, and are not assets of the life cycle because they cant breed giving them no focus to mother nature. Mother Nature is set to help provide nourishment to continue life and mammals which breed which creates a life cycle. So with that said i michael adelson is not a cyborg and is a asset to mother nature. I still think that cyborgs are cool machines i grew up watching tv about them but i am most deffly not a cyborg.

In Plato’s “Allegory of the Cave,” Socrates__is trying to explain to Glaucon what it is to be a philosopher, some one who is persistently trying to gain knowledge and wisdom._Socrates is also informing him the affects you can endure being a philosopher such as, ignorant people who despise those who seek knowledge and say they are weird. As Socrates  being wise he expected the fact that he is a weird/geek because in order to gain wisdom  you must be able to except facts. If you cant accept facts that means you are ignorant to deny what you are. You can not be wise denying reality so he is what he is a philosopher_etc. [Write your summary of what goes on, explaining the main points. My Place in the Cave
My place in the cave is that i am walking to the light towards the end of the cave, because i am not fully there but i am getting there. I say this because i graduated from high school which is a critical step because not many people get the opportunity to graduate from high school. When i was in high school I faced many challenges such as bad friends, wrong place wrong time , laziness, and ignorance. Through it all i had to make choices did i want to stay in high school, or change my act , go to class study , and take care of my business. Many people graduated with out a hassle but me i am proud of me graduating because of the obstacles i had to face. When i graduate college i plan to be a professor just like Socrates so i can demonstrate wisdom to those who where dealt a wrong hand, and encourage them to seek wisdom instead of remaining chained in the dark seeking help. When i get to that point in my life that i am a professor i can say i have escaped the cave and came back to help those stuck in the cave by granting them wisdom. If i succeed in helping these young gain wisdom and become wise i can say i have surpassed my expectations, because i saved my self then i also helped the young save them selves.

When Truman leaves Sea Haven i think he expects to find another life where he is not being watched or broadcasted on tv. Where he feels life is normal and doesnt have to worry about every one watching him, or where his friends actually love him for who he is, and there not actors or cast trying to play a role on his show. Or It think may be fiji where he always wanted to travel to and start a new life, and also to find his women silvia that he had he passionate feelings for. This is like the the 1st step to a new begining for Truman. He will grow out of the feeling where every one is watching him, he will be able to do the things he wants, and meet the people he wants instead of the people he was assigned to meet. What they did to truman was wrong you cant just take a mans life with out his consent and turn it into a show, and also play a lie that his father did in reality he was rescued from the sea and disappeared from trumans life. That caused truman alot of emotional distress and confusion. Truman would be walking on the street looking at his dad wondering if he was still alive, and in reality he really was.So thats what i belive is on the other side of the door for truman a life of freedom and privacy outside of a large studio.

What I Need To Pass The CATW

What is needed to pass the CATW assessment test is described in this article step by step. The CATW test is grade by a scoring rubric which ranges from 1 to 6 points in each category. 1 threw 2 describes weak responses, 3 to 4 describe mid level responses, and 5 to 6 describe good or superior responses. In order to pass the test you must use critical responses, general statements, must have a central focus or idea, and correct grammar. These are the necessity needed to have a passing test, if all these are used correctly and demonstrated correctly that should guide you to a 5 or 6 on the grading rubric

CATW Reading

The CATW reading selections describes the necessity needed for a CATW assessment test, and what it pertains to. It also describes what areas can be in the assessment such as sociology, psychology, technology and other popular cultures. The authors most important idea in this passage is in order to prepare for a reading you must understand the type of reading . This is important so that when you describe the passage you could refer to the reading with your own knowledge and experience. If you can not understand the reading how can you relate to it to describe the reading. So i think the author made a very important point in this passage.

Allegory Of The Cave

In Plato's Allegory of The Cave, Socrates is explaining to his young follower Glaucon that we inhabit a world of  Ignorance , where people can't accept the truth. He explains to Glaucon that when you want to expand your  Wisdom  that people may look at you like your weird , but when you understand the fact and  acknowledged the truth you will never want to go back to ignorance.

Hype

The Author of this passage is absolutley correct about how much advertisment has an impact on us, as you are driving in the highway you can encounter up to four billboards in a mile from experience.It says that there are up to 3,000 marketing messages per day, and when you think about it if I encounter 4 billboards a day, and travel 4-6 miles a day, listening to the radio, driving by bus adds, and watch about 3 hours of tv when I arrive home I can say I acummulated about 3,000 marketing message right there. In the summary he describes all the significant ways you can encounter advertisments such as, filling gas, tv commercials, and even in clasrooms which creates ways for you to invest in their buisness. This actually does pollute your brain because there is no way to hide from it, they are everywhere you turn, and i belive that is the most significant idea he mentioned so far. In this world buisness keeps the economy in order and in order to keep buisness to build you must advertise. Advertise to the point it makes us sick to our guts.
